Thank you all and goodbye

It’s time to call time on this blog. It had become more of a chore than a joy, and I am very jealous of all my free time, so that which I spend on taking notes, writing and even procrastinating over writing can now be spent on one of my many preoccupations. I will continue privately to aim at reading the classics as before, just removing the social media aspects.

While my blog has not set the world on fire, I would like to thank my regular readers, including FictionFan at https://fictionfanblog.wordpress.com; Laurie@RelevantObscurity , Jason from We Need to Talk about Books (https://weneedtotalkaboutbooks.com/) and most recently Josbees at Odd Bits about Books. Thank you all for your support and friendship during this voyage and my best wishes for your continuing projects. I hope I will continue to follow your adventures and even comment more often than I have of late.

My ongoing reading list is added below to give some sort of closure to the blog. The blog has been renewed for the year so it will stay online until July 2022. So from Kimmy and I, farewell and read well!

  1. Sorry to see you go, but when it starts to feel like a chore then I think it’s wise to stop. The good thing about blogging is you can always take it up again if you ever feel like it in the future. You’ll always be a welcome visitor if ever you surf my way!

Good luck with all your new interests, and maybe Kimmy will enjoy nature watching more than reading! 😀

  2. I’m genuinely sorry to see you go but if it’s turning into a chore rather than some fun then I completely understand your choice. I hope your love of reading continues to burn bright!

  3. I stopped blogging for awhile. It had become too stressful. I am not sure what I am going to do. I love reading, but like you, I understand that book blogging is time consuming and when you have other interests…well….

I think you took/are taking on such a great project and I wish you well as you read All. The. Books. Kimmy is a great companion…and I wish you both happy trails 🙂
