The spin number for the latest Classics Club spin is #1. I didn’t think about this eventuality too seriously, and have spent today reading and posting on the first title of my list, so now what? Another challenge is required.
Any ideas, anyone?

The previous spins have been 14, 6, 4, 10, 20, 1, 17, 13, 2, 5, 19, 8 and 15.
Amazingly no doubles until now.
Maybe we could pick one of the numbers never spun before?
Or we could add all the previous spins then divide by 14? (Which is 9.6.)
I’ve just noticed that the first spin gave us 14 & now the 14th spin has given us a one. Perhaps we should read no. 14 as well?

So 14 it will be – thanks Brona. Good luck with your choice!

14 is perfect for me too as it’s an Aussie classic that I was planning to read for AusReading Month in Nov 🙂

What book would have been in the number 1 spot if you had updated it yesterday? Read that?

Ha, I’m in despair over my #1, and you need a new one! I like the idea of picking a number that hasn’t yet happened, or doing 14. 14 would be pretty tough on you though…maybe 3?

I know nothing at all about Faulkner – never read, never even thought about reading. If you get there, I for one will be looking forward to reading your successful post. And that’s two Classics Club punters have suggested 14 so that’ll do me. It’ll push me pretty hard.

I think you should read all the other 19… 😉

LOL It did cross my mind, and I will eventually, but it may be a bit of a push too far
